The Chinese who doesn't speak Chinese

Mandarin, technically, should I take Bahasa Cina for my final pelengkap?

i noticed thr r quite a number of BANANAs @ unimas...!

I have no problems with non-chinese speaking chinese (you get what i mean right?!). Because usually, their english is very good, like jess gaylord, crazy I*** and siao A*** and others...huhu

well, a people belong to certain ethnic group should get at least known their where about, origin and some of their culture. as that marks their identity.

chinese does not speak chinese is ok, as i understand, they didnt make the choice but their parents make for them since they are given birth.

it just my opinion.

Btw, FYI, siao A*** is perfectly fluent in Mandarin.

chinese ppl should noe how to speak, write and read chinese...

at least noe how to speak and listen chinese...

i've met a chinese ppl, x noe how to speak or listen chinese, can only speak cantonese (but x understand chinese, weird) and english...he quite stubborn, look down on east-malaysian... :S

i dun think tat a chinese dunno speak n write mandarin is the problem... even i m a chinese, but i still gt other ethnics frens... n mayb my partner is the malay in the future... who noe??? haha...

ya lor...who gives a damn about ethnic now? it's not a big deal considering we are the species...Homo sapiens!

yaya... im so hapi to study at UNIMAS becoz we can noe more different ethnics frens here... hehe...

I have a lot of chinese and indian frens here more than i am back in my hometown, my chinese friends mostly can speak chinese, but, the thing is I don't understand chinese, thank god they are also good in english, haha

but many of my different ethnics frens they feel interested in learning chinese... so sometimes they will asking abt hw u say something in chinese... hehe... even my roommate is chinese, she noe to speak chinese but dunno to read n write chinese as well...
