Earth Hour - Vote for Mother Earth!!!

1,672 cities, towns and
municipalities in 80 countries have already committed to VOTE EARTH for
Earth Hour 2009, as part of the worlds first global election between
Earth and global warming.


On March 28 you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour.
Or you can vote global warming by leaving your lights on.
The
results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate
Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. We want one billion votes for
Earth, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global
warming.

the only commercial buildings or landmarks in malaysia that gonna turn their lights off that night are:

Penang Bridge
Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad (Dataran Merdeka)

Tugu Negara
Kota Darul Ehsan
Istana Negara
A' Famosa (Melaka)
Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim-Johor Bharu

let's us switch off our own room's light tat day as to support the Earth Hour... but u can switch on ur laptop wad... haha~

i like this earth hour...really...we are doing so much things that hurt our mother earth...and now we should support all of this kind of activities!!!hope unimas can held dis earth hour...or we suggest to MPP??

well, actually MPP had posted notice regarding this. HEP, residential college, chancellery, unimas bridge will have all the electrical equipment turn off, so they ask us to stay in room during that time, i think atas sebab keselamatan

haiz...i told my frens about dis...wat they react is "huh?how can i do my assignments??"; "huh?den will be very hot and got so many nyamuk leh..." :S

although i oso got so many assignments, but i think we jz spend one hour to support dis event is very meaningful one rite? why don't they juz support and help our mother earth???

yeah...for an hour only maa... no big deal...
