Known IP address In UNIMAS--updated 27/7/08

Finally, has been waiting for it 2sems...Unimas finally provide the WI-Fi~~~
Now,all kolej should be able to detect it and connect it already.
Just in case,you guys always get limited connection when u trying hard to connect to it,try put in the IP address manually.
This is the ip and i'll hidden it,

For your information,the connection actually depends on kolej's authorized officer :evil: . If they open the router,then you can connect to it. Else you cant even detect it and if you really can detect and you connected(assume you put in theip manually), it'll also don't have any packet be received.

The ip address is same for all kolej which the connection "Unimas-Mesh-Wifi" exists, except kolej seroja, seroja are using different wireless connection and in case you go online at seroja cafe,the ip address also provided in the post above.

:P what i can say here, the wifi network still not so stable... even we can detect the network but sometimes it cant connect at all... and sometimes it's too slow!!! and the network always putus... memang geram!!! :twisted: sometimes it makes ppl geram to connect anymore... im fss student, hav to on9 for searching lot of info for my assgmt... what to do?!? :?: i hope i can connect well afterward... :queen:

Seemingly in the past two days the wireless is gone, no signals at all. My lecturer, classmates and I did made few request/complaint/suggestion based of the "protocol" that the "higher-ups" usually asked. Nothing much can be done actually, other than just making more complaints through the "proper" ways, and then sadly to say, more waiting.

Amazingly, according to my lecturer, this wi-fi thingy is already discussed and approved in a meeting TWO YEARS AGO. Now as we can see after two years of waiting (especially the seniors), now we get something, but just crap and junk.

I'm from TAZ myself, did bump into the college president, he asked that if any problem can make complaints to the office. I wonder what they can do anyways.

We still have to go to the so called biggest library, in Malaysia? or in SEA? forget already, with the high tech system of book search and many internet ports (many broken ones? and malfunctioned electric ports?). I'm so proud of UNIMAS, LMAO. This just concludes how "CONTEMPORARY and FORWARD LOOKING" UNIMAS is. Think about it. Everyone knows that.

Since there is holiday, many people are going back... Then i just can keep online for 'longer' time... if we can access the network in the room, that's better for us to search the info from the net easily for our assignment... Anyway, i just hope all the people can connect well in their room...

wireless at kolej very sucks... cannot connect most of the time. even to check email cannot also. :cry:

but i heard gt someone who stay at your side get well signal there... he said he never disconnect all the time...
