Hamster, the amazing furballs...

i love hamster, theyre cute, small, and they bite you alot! hehe

my fav is the white dwarf russian.

Anyone here like to share their experience with hamster?

Most of the time, i've feed them dried food...did they actually needs regular dose of fresh foods? i don't think so...but does it affects they hamster's health in any way..

once i rear two hamsters in cage but the first one bite second one to death and the first one die shortly after...cute...but very hard to rear...

i love hamsters too.. been keeping Syrian and Roborovsky for years.. but now left 1 ekor roborovsky.

Actually hamsters that bite come from parents which are siblings to each other. So if u dun wan ur hamster to bite, be sure to ask the pet shop the origin of the hamster. just make sure they are not the product of 2 siblings.

next year i will bring ham ham here, if my couple are breeding, it would be wonderful.

cool.. my robo pair.. never breed.. so sad.. haizz.. 2 years.. not a single child.. haha... untill the male died...still no child.. haizz.. now the female left alone.. pity :D

there should be reason why tehy dont breed. you do you research on them before you keep them?
if you do there should be no problem one.
some how its either i bring in hammy or ratty.
pre-order anyone if my ham ham and rat rat give birth next year. hehehehe

got.. duno y nothing came out.. sobzz... need to learn more frm u ler.. robo breed 1 year 1 time roughly rite?

i am not sure about roby but if you ask me mouse and rats i can tell you lah. hehehehe

the reason can be food, health, weather, hide spot, bedding, space and also partner. if possible next sem i bring male and female come and we exchange the partner and see if there is any progress.
swap from time to time of the partnet will increse the stimulation of mating them.

well, my white russians breeds like 2 -3 times a years...crazy rite!!! but the survival rate is low since the female sometimes eat her babies, guess my housemate disturb them to much! anyway, i used to have three baby hamster, so cute!
