Certainly do. Human will be exterminated by robots in the future.

3. The virus outbreak

here's one of my theories on hoe human become extinct:

Global Pandemic
When an extremely virulent disease begins infecting large populations, a pandemic is declared by WHO (World Health Organisation). There have been many pandemics in the past, examples being ‘The Black Death', which was a strain of bubonic plague striking Europe, and the ‘Spanish Flu' in the 1910s. Influenza is a particular threat - it mutates rapidly and we cannot vaccinate ourselves against it. It has been responsible for decimation of entire populations and is still a threat today. If a hyper-contagious virus were released into the ecosphere it would spread rapidly along transport routes. Aeroplanes would become localised infections, the hosts carrying it to new places. New York, London and other large cities would quickly become abandoned. Pandemics also make excellent films, although the effects are usually exaggerated. (‘I am Legend' particularly - no virus can turn a person feral while keeping them alive).

Human will become extinct one day??? must be years after i'm gone!

1. the sun burst into red star...(far in the future)
2. Virus or bacteria or other disease causing thingy outbreak, like in
movie...it is plausible...shivering thinking that most people would
blame biotechnologist
3. Hostile environment...global warming etc....pollution..
4. no food in the world...everyone dying of starvation , then start
killing each other and become cannibal , turn out they spreading disease
also....please refer to 2...
5. failed attempt to leave mother earth ...the ship blown up in space killing every single human being .
6. choose the wrong planet...eaten by aliens
7. if keroro platoon managed to invade this planet ...then angols mois
will break this planet into half...the gravity will be disrupted the
atmosphere thinning...no oxygen....every one die!!!!

oh god...what am i thinking!!!

I think most of us agreed on the virus outbreak, don't we?

Despite those threats, i believe human survival instinct is very high to overcome it..

Even if human really wiped out of Earth, i believe somebody will keep the DNA of human somewhere so that in distant future human can be revived again.

i'm a biotech student...lets hope there are some extraterestrial being have that kind of technology....

Extreme-adverse Weather

Either we could cause the weather or it could be a freak occurrence. Phrases like global warming and climate change are thrown around a lot these days and they can be responsible for some weather changes, but we underestimate nature's resilience. Neither the less, a new ice age could emerge (although we are still in one), in which most surface life is killed. Again, films like ‘The Day after Tomorrow' exaggerate the effects.

Preservation mammal by cryogenic is rather hard, high water content means dehydration needed, which means death to most cell....i'm not sure about the latest technology...but last time, pouring liquid nitrogens to my bacteria for storage at -80 degree celcius gives me slight idea why it doesn't work well with animal cells...but recently they stored tissues like embryonic cord in liquid nitrogen for future used....i think the future can be promising or shall i say...freezing?

it can..but with high water content in cells, the effect similar to frost bite will kill the cells...luckily my work only involves liquid nitrogen once in a while....some of the cells can be freeze at very low temperature after treatment and still alive after thawing...

b. global warming can lead to what we watch in "The Day After Tomorrow". Well, its scientifically proven that that is most likely with the probability to happen. (Eventually, in a couple of hundreds of years)

5. Human superiority which cause genocide. Best example, Adolf Hitler, he who sees the "Arians" race (blond and blue-eyed pure German) as being superior while others are worthless. This could repeat itself. (Not that high of chances)

Note: Most people who had AIDS died from other sickness rather than AIDS itself, because AIDS will eradicate, reduce the human's immune system, hence other disease and sickness attack, which causes death.

all of facts you all have gave is the cost of possibility that may make human going to extinction.

but if you all keep on mourning here and there there will be no changes. why not believe in human that we can make things right even though there are a lot of those bast*rds out there are making the situation worse?

population of human is rising up every 3 second. that consistency is killing the mother earth.

but hey, don't you all know that mother earth is reacting too? the universe and other organism as well?

population of human will eventually declining cause of some of selfish people who create the sphere of wealth in various way.

but hey mother nature is having her way,

tsunami in all of sudden in indon,
viruses occur one after another which kill thousands of thousands of people,
war age where people are reacting to ward another killing each other, ideology is even worse it makes you believe and embrace the identity which you might forgot your self,
water is rising every year 10mm,
the sun is getting bigger,
every 400million years the asteriod hit the earth as expected,
we are killing each other for stupid reason,
and evolution of other organism might cost humans life in billion.

all of this is killing human but not necessary will make human gone to extinction.

fromw hat i know is that some of you are too obsess with the media that plays your mind like 50 years ago in america where 'invation of mars' was introduce and channel in life in radio which makes one of the city all the residents run to caves to hide cause they BELIEVE its true.

there is no doubt human species is threaten, but talk about extinction which have no base of research and matured thinking is not an option but decision on you believe that may happen or you will do something about it.

talking cannot change anything, taking action for 'revolution' is what i think that some of you should do instead of acting like a child.

this is forum, where everyone shares their piece of mind but please, share with facts which is not manipulated your own sensational reason and purposes.
