Hm...so far only senior member active in this forum... where's the junior :confused: ..... maybe should announce this forum exist in our next training... Ms kye why not join wushu club? although maybe u are expert in using "GUN" at least should learn hand fighting :lol:

Dear psychedelicVisual, that is actually s agood idea. But too bad, im in second year dy. Besid it omost d end of sem1 dy, so i miss d chance. Yea, i play gun and once was a karateka. So i have basic in martial art oso. Do you think i still have chance to complete all level in wusgu if i start to join only next sem (another three sem before graduate)??

Ms kye..... :?: between karate and Wushu(kung fu)... which one u think is the most efficiently style fighting... i also hav interest in other martial arts form especially like eskrima & kalaripayat... because ur fan of wushu and hav experience in karate why not just give ur opinion :bom: .....

i actually dunno much about wushu, so cant compare too detail on these two things. Karate got many branches some more, i was in shutokan, where i learn sparring, kata, combination, meditation n etc. I like karate bcoz in balance the use of hands and legs when comes to fighting, think that is why i like wushu as well. Wht is that eskima & kalaripayat?

Eskrima is stick fighting was origin from Philipines and kalaripayat is a form of india martial arts..both this style very hard to learn because until now i stil cant find this kind martial art school.. wat u learn in meditation... and wat a diffrent between shutokan and other karate form.

meditation is where you find yourself, my sensei used this to teach us not to misuse our ability in martial art. It helps us to differentiate your mind and your heart. Some sort like managing your feeling and be smart in the way of thinking.

Shutokan is a real karate, other like Shitorio is a combination with other martial art, but more complex. Plus the branch is refer to where the lesson originate from.

depends...it is more to how well you can apply the thing that you learn and depend on your sensei oso la. Got 10 belts before black belt.

Woh~same as wushu. You need to join the test 10 times b4 u actually can hold the black belt. Hmm...I'm junior in this forum. :)

hmmm... never tried karate... Never knew that they were multiple schools in karate. I have a experience in kick-boxing, taekwondo and taijiquan though.
