Lightning that "crawls" between clouds are easier to be captured since they last longer. Lightning that hits the ground are harder to be photo'ed because of it last very briefly and dangerous too. Have to find suitable hiding place or will risk strike by that lightning bolt.

Don't worry, later you use adobe photoshock to manually draw the lightning into the picture.. lightning pictures 43758
