Now let me bring us guys to MFM ( the Manhattan Fish Market).

Name of food: Seafoof platter (* strictly recommended for 2)
Ingredients:Deep fried fish fillet,calamari (sotong), oyster and prawns served with chips n garlic rice.
Price: RM 30++ -->RM40 ( i think, coz din notice the price. we ordered quite a lot of stuff)
Location: MFM outlets in msia

WTF, the food makes my tummy goes wild lah...

Another Penang delicacies. Erm...this commonly found in seberang Perai (Mainland), near Bukit Mertajam aka BM.

Food name: Yam-rice (aka O-pui 芋饭）
Decription: yam rice is eaten 2gther v the *special ingredient soup（什猪汤）* + black sauce sour pork leg(猪脚醋）
*[seen here in the picture is left juz the intestine coz the pork leg is been eaten, imagine urself k?]
price: RM3.50/1 person's serving
location: Bukit Mertajam aka BM, Penang.

Ingredients: Big prawns (charged by the amount, type and size), some seafood, eggs, and most importantly their *secret-recipe kuah*
location:near Kepala Batas (Pak Lah's hometown), Penang

This is the famous Fuzhou "Gong Pian" made of onions. One of the must try foods in Sitiawan.

Food Name: Gong Pian with Onions
Price : 60cents/each
Venue : Sitiawan
Cheong Cia Gong Pian, Sitiawan, Perak.

oooo. u from sitiawan. i ate hong qiu mian xian and kong pia in both sitiawan n sibu b4.

but dono lar, for me both are about the same.

the kong pia is not same lo...i dun like Sibu de...the taste is different from wat I usually eat in my hometown....hehehe...mayb u r not comfortable with the taste..especially hong qiu...some ppl even alergy to it le...

erm... i remember gt 1 style of eating kong pia in sibu is v soup 1.

i heard the hong qiu in the mian xian is self-made 1?

yea...the hong qiu is self-made de..so the taste will be different for different ppl...see ur luck....

wah...wet kong pia...first time see...mayb go back try on my hometown de...will be much different I guess..hahaha...

n the portion is ok.....
in sarawak.... thing is different n reverse one....
if food is ok n nice the portion small until u can calculate how many ingredient for example prawn they put ........

ya. penang food is quite generous with the ingredient. but this also depends on the price.

hahaha...u din post penang "o jian"....its one of the penang popular foods...the portion oso depends on the place u eat...some oso small portion...I used to stay in Penang Island for half of year...so I miss the foods there....=.="...compare to unimas...nth to say...T_T

i dun hv *live* pics of that. Perhaps sum1 hv pls upload it. or i ll try upload it after i gt bac this study week.

study week go back bring more nice food's picture for us to see...can see but cannot eat...T_T...at least we can know got the existence of that particular foods...
